Xbox one not reading disks

Xbox one not reading disks. I have followed all directions to troubleshoot. Plz help

Xbox One Disk not reading

Same here....Christmas morning....Set everything up.....Had trouble getting on live....then it later worked....Updated console and it doesnt read a single disc. Brand new out the box.....Tried all the reset and leave the power unplugged. Nothing works.....It
must have a bad drive......Very Sad that so many people are experiencing the same problem and what a terrible day to be so disappointed. I bought a brand new one and I want a brand new one. This will turn people away from Microsoft products if this is
not resolved in a proper manner. My son had a 360 and wanted the new one. He is very disappointed and I am too......Got this on black Friday and had no clue that this was a issue. I would have tried it out to make sure it worked if I knew this was a known
problem. Very Sad on Microsoft.

what if you have disk read errors from zero date, tried reset suggested by support, was a hit after a dozen tries now a miss on all attempts, support now has great way of bumping you out of queue and directing to unprintable service requests

Just to confirm, did you head to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray and uncheck Enable BD Live then click Clear Persistent Storage 3 times and finally hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down?

If you did and the console still will not read discs then I'm afraid that you may need to send it in for a warranty repair.

Hello, try to clean your disks with a soft cloth, then retry to read them.

If your xbox still doesn't read the disks, go to your retailer and ask for more informations (if the disks work on another console), if they can be read from another console (the retailer one?), the problem is in your xbox's cd reader.

That may sound strange, but if you "hold" the disk for 2 seconds while inserting on the console, the xbox will pull the disk with more strength, then let go of the disk and see if it will read. This happened with my old xbox one, it would only read disks
if i did this, don't know why.

I sometimes get an error with disc not reading, so I do hard shutdown (hold power button for like 6-7 seconds etc), unplug, leave for 30 seconds, turn back on. I'd try this before doing complete factory reset.

I would try the factory reset as you will more then likely lose all your data anyhow(if you send it for repairs).

I would speak to live chat about the repairs system or possibly check its working tomorrow.

If youve tried all the troubleshooting steps to no avail then you need to send it off for repairs.

Have you tried completely reseting the console to its factory settings?
