Xbox one not reading disk

This is starting to get extremely annoying at this point. It baffles me how a video game console can have so much problems with reading disk when, you know? playing games on a disk is a pretty damn big part of a console. like how can not being able to play games be a common problem on a console? Ive had little to no problems with my ps4 (which i owned for 7 years btw). But my xbox (that ive owned for literally just a year) is already pretty much on the verge of breaking. it used to be a little problem where i had to just insert the disk a couple of times and then the game would work, but now i do it over 20 times and it STILL DOESNT READ THE DISK. I was honestly thinking of picking up a Series X but I dont want to pick up a console just for it to break in a year. it seems as if xbox uses cheap hardware not just with their consoles but with their controllers as well. Ive had to replace my controller several times (again, ive owned my xbox for only a year) while i still have the controller my ps4 came with and it works fine. Majority of the games i like to play are on disks and i would really like to play them. but looking at the trouble shooting list they either give me some basic fixes that never work or basically tell me to buy a new disk, buy it digitally, or buy a new console. really pathetic advice if you ask me. can someone please tell me if they have a fix and respond with fixes that actually work. no hard power cycle or anything like that because those dont help.
