Xbox one not pulling disks to be played

It is against Xbox forum guidelines to discuss self repair of Xbox hardware. The only thing that can be suggested on this forum is to get in touch with Device service
and replacement team to see if they will service your Xbox. Do bare in mind they may refuse as you have attempted a self repair of the unit.

I'm sorry to hear that but I'm afraid the disc drive needs a service if that's the case. It has nothing to do with the software though but the disc drive itself considering that you're hearing a noise from it. I totally understand that you are having issues with the console. That may sound strange, but if you "hold" the disk for 2 seconds while inserting on the console, the xbox will pull the disk with more strength, then let go of the disk and see if it will read. This happened with my old xbox one, it would only read disks
if i did this, don't know why.

Reatork - Magic. Presto Unplug network cable to play disk worked. Hobit unexpected journey, Crashed my older Xbox One. My Xbox One Hybrid gave me the sign in error (0X80070102) Its not the disk as it was straight out of the wrapper. It appears to be some
kind of online licence check or dynamic content thing on the disks that doesn't work right. I signed in. Updated player, then pulled my cable. Worked on both machines without error.

I got this error today too. I pulled the disk out and saw several cracks in it and one that was just starting to spread into the data area which probably caused the error. I had the same problem with my MW2 disk but after over a year of use. It just seems
too soon for a game I got two months ago and play for a few hours a week to break. The disks must be defective.
