    Since the october 2017 update my xbox one stop playing all my xbox 360 discs. Days before the update i just purchasd a dlc for Gears of war 3 (raams shadow) took xbox to work, downloaded along with updates, came home and now xbox says i need to connect to
    xbox live to play. Tried to connect at home.slow connection. And now it says insert disc or get rights from marketplace. Fifa soccer game for xbox one game works fine, but cant get my 360 discs to work.

    Xbox 360 to Xbox One Disc Problems

    I've noticed that it is just immediately after playing an Xbox 360 disc. Once I put in an Xbox One disc it sounds like the disc is being read but it just stops trying (if you understand). Xbox one discs themselves work just fine but not after 360 discs.
    I just checked out the disc troubleshooting and I will try out those fixes. I'll keep posted

    I'm assuming it is but, the disc is for xbox one right? It's not an xbox 360 version of ghosts? You shouldn't have any trouble playing used xbox one games on your xbox one. Is the disc damaged or dirty?

    Xbox One Compatibility with 360 Games

    You can play any backward compatible 360 game on an Xbox One, provided you can either install it via disc like on the 360 (and the disc will need to be in the console in order to play the game), or you have purchased the 360 game digitally so you can download
    it to the console.

    If you purchased the all digital Xbox One S, you will need to purchase any 360 games digitally (even if you already own them on disc) in order to play them on that particular console.

    You'd need to keep your Xbox 360 in order to play any sort of Xbox 360 content (game discs, games on demand, xbox live arcade titles, etc). Your profile can co-exist on both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One so if you wish to earn some achievements or simply go
    play that game you can do so on the Xbox 360 console.

    The Xbox One will only play Xbox One game discs, games on demand discs, as well as Xbox LIVE Arcade titles that have been released on the Xbox One.
