Xbox one not loading games, apps or settings

Hello,

My Xbox One not opening apps or games or settings. The homepage won't load fully, some games do not have a picture. If I try to click on an app or game from the home page nothing works. If I use the controller in the left bar that comes up, it allows me to click on apps or games but they don't open and it takes me back to the home page. I also can't open the settings menu.

It is also 2:22am everytime i turn the xbox on regardless of the actual time.

I have already tried restarting the xbox. Unplugging it from the mains and returning it on. Yet nothing so far has fixed the issue.

Thank you for your help. I managed to get into my xbox settings and it turned out it just needed an update. All appears to be working now

I have just tried this but no luck. I managed to get to the Startup Troubleshooter. I clicked on "Reset this Xbox" and I just took me back to my home page that still isn't working.

I didnt have any options after reset this xbox, it didn't ask if I wanted to keep games or apps (which are still on my xbox as I don't believe anything happened).

I'm now unable to get the startup troubleshooter back up after doing all of the steps again.

Thank you for the update. Can you please perform a powercycle then try accessing your console settings?

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

In this case, we just need to reset your console keeping your games and apps through the Xbox Troubleshooter page. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Make sure to follow the steps accordingly to access it:

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

4. Press and hold the Pair button (located on the left side of the console) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

5. Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

When the console powers up, you will see the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. Please click on "Reset this Xbox" then "Reset and keep my games and apps".
