    Xbox one not letting me sign in to an xbox live account


    So I have been trying to play some minecraft on my Xbox one however I am unable to log into any xbox live account. It will just show a black screen where it would usually make me enter a password. I have to go offline if I want to do anything does anyone
    know how to fix this?

    Connection problem with xbox live

    I'm having similar connection issues with Xbox live on my One. I can log into my account just fine but it's not connecting to xbox live. I was able to sign into live on my 360, but for some reason my One just won't let me connect.

    I signed out of all xbox live accounts and I did a connection test on my xbox and it said everything was up and running so then I turned off my xbox and turned it back on and it let me sign into my Xbox live account

    What was that all about?

    Xbox one's backwards compatibility won't work

    Check too see if your account is a child account or adult account.

    support.xbox.com/.../promote-child-account

    Start a game up that is backwards compatible without signing into xbox live, then sign in.

    Please let me know if either of those work.
