Xbox One not getting full upload speeds

I have a 20mb Fibre connection. 20mb Download and 20mb Upload.

However, on my PC and phone I get the full speeds, but on my Base Model Xbox One, its the Halo 5 version, I keep getting half the speed.

Is there some setting that I can change to get the full speeds?

I spoke to my ISP and they weren't much help.

The console and the PC is wired to the router, yet my Xbox only gets half the upload speeds.

Please help. I wish to stream to Twitch via the Companion App as a capture card is bit out of my budget at the moment.

Hi @Adriaan86 I have a tip that could help up your upload, Download speed I'll send you a link to a yt video It's about DNS Servers these Servers Like Google and other big companies servers have a way to boost your wifi speed on xbox or Pc if you go to advanded Network settings you will see DNS settings then you can type googles server this can possibly up your speed by 20-30mb/s

Thank you, but I actually tried those earlier, even the Cloudflare one, and still the same.

My download is fine, but it's the upload for when I want to stream from the Xbox to the companion and then to Twitch.

My ISP asked me to do a Traceroute, like Ok, How?!

An Xbox doesn't exactly have a cmd prompt, so I don't know what they on about.

Any other suggestions about this issue?

I'd like to know an answer to this question also. Same thing is happening to me.

I have Comcast Extreme 105 down/25 up speed. Getting full 105+ download speed on the Xbox and my PC but only about 3 Mbps upload on the Xbox even though PC speedtest is showing the full 25.

When I try to Twitch stream, it can barely handle broadcasting in SD, even though I clearly have the speed to be able to do full 1080p HD if the Xbox One would allow my full upload speed to work.

Same here.

My upload speed is 10mbit but somehow only the xbox one says 3mbit.

All other devices have the full 10mbit.

[/quote]You should be getting the full speed regardless of security, and for the record the 40meg will be your download not your upload speed.
