Xbox one not functioning correctly

My xbox has been having a issue all day. My controller won't connect to the Xbox or power the Xbox on. but once the Xbox is on and the controller finally connects it works for a minute and then the controller will disconnect and my Xbox will automatically
disconnect me from Xbox live. Then it won't let me connect my controller again unless I power the Xbox off and back on again. And the same thing with Xbox lI've. It won't connect again unless I restart my Xbox. It'll only disconect me from Xbox live if my
controller disconnects. If anyone knows a fix please let me know

xbox one controller not functioning correctly

Went to use my xbox today only to find that I cant sign in or activate games. the controllers that I have let me move around the menus and the a button allows me to move into the list of profiles but not to select them. does any one have any idea on how
to fix this issue?? I have powered down the xbox , unplugged it and left for a few mins but still have the same issue even if connected with a cable.

The website has run this badly for several years,its nothing new.

The only way to cut down on run time errors is to clear your computers cookies often.

Have you tried doing a hard reset? Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once
it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!

try what the answer above has said also this could be due to not being paired correctley to your xbox they repair controller to xbox, also make sure you are using decent batreys in your controller as this can be a issue as well, as with the connection this
could also be fixed by power cycling the xbox also at the same time reseting your router

Tried two controllers and done that reset already. Im not sure what else to do 🤔

Turn off your console and use a play/charge uSB cable to connect your controller to your console. Turn on console.

If a Update your controller firmware screen appears, update.
If not follow the guide in the link.
