Xbox one not downloading games properly

So whenever I want to download a game I have to start the download then turn the xbox off or else it won't download. If there's anything in my download queue I can't open any games or apps until the download is finished. I've tested 2 routers, 2 xbox one's,
and 1 xbox one x. The issue doesn't happen if I tether my xbox to my mobile hotspot. I can still access every other aspect of xbox live so long as I'm not downloading anything. I can't think of anything else to do please help.

Hey Carlo,

I've tried all those things. I've also done a full factory reset and offline USB update.

It's currently set to instant on and the problem is the same if it's plugged into the router.

Hello Franko, Please follow these steps so that we can resolve this problem

1) Check the Xbox Live service status If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again

2) Make sure you're signed in with the correct Xbox profile

3) Check the space on your hard drive

4) Check for a system update.

If none of these work be sure to check your startup settings in system settings to see if power saver is turned on or off. Also check your wifi connection as this could aslo be the issue.

It is a security measure built into the Xbox 360. Even though you are now on the Xbox One, your child's account still will need permission to download games. Since the Xbox One uses the same interface as the Xbox.com store, the only way to properly allow
him to download games is directly through an Xbox 360.

Hi,

Your country is not officially supported by Xbox LIVE (Uruguay) which would mean that you would not be eligible to download the region locked FIFA 14 title. Unfortunately, there's nothing you would be able to do to be able to download this game properly. The
error code you received means that you have a region conflict. You're in a country/region other than the one where the game can be officially purchased/downloaded.

The only way you'll be able to properly download this game is if you take the Xbox 360 console to the United States and download it there, no way around that, sorry.

Backwards compatible 360 games aren't read off the disc.

Instead, if the Xbox One detects the security sector of the 360 disc properly, it'll download the game in a special emulator container from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

No actual game data is used from the disc, so as long as the security sector on the disc is intact and readable, the scratches on the disc don't matter. Even games that stopped working on the 360 can be played on the Xbox One again because of this.

So make sure that your console is properly connected online when you insert the 360 disc, so the console can download the game from the Marketplace.
