    Xbox one not doing the first update after factory reset.


    Hi there,

    I had a problem with my xbox one, 'unable to get your latest saved data' and read that the only way to fix was to do a factory reset as it is down to a corrupt file. I now cannot do the first update after doing the factory reset. 'There was a problem with
    the update' I have tried using wired and wireless. Can someone please help.

    Anybody else experiencing massive new issues after the new update?

    Yes and I don't know anyone with these issues. If its been that way since update, I'd factory reset the Xbox and let it do a complete refresh of everything. WARNING: You will have to redownload everything not on external HDD. But it will fix it and probably run better than ever. I always recommend doing factory resets after major OS upgrades like this on PC. Xbox is no different.

    Hi Morgan levi,

    Sorry you're having issues starting games after your last update. First try doing a hard reset. To do this with the console powered on hold the power button down for about 8 seconds until it just turns off. After that turn it back on, and see if your games
    do or do not start. If they still do not start then, try unplugging the console for a few minutes. Plug it back in and see if your games work. If you're still having issues try doing a factory reset by following

    this link    ., I'd suggest first leaving your settings, if it doesn't work then do the full reset.

    No first after you remove the program you factory reset hard meaning erase everything

    Then do a normal reboot and update

    You do a offline update you will brick your system

    Same probleme here with my xbox one x. My external seagate drive turns on and off. In 1 hour this happens 10 times and more.

    I already do a power cycle and a factory reset. This problem first happens after the october update !

    Have you tried a factory reset and try doing an offline system update ? To me it seems you corrupted the os on the xbox installed to the internal drive. If you interrupted the update. So i suggest doing a fresh system update while offline after a factory reset. Apart from that any change in the boot animation aka the boot logo when you first boot up the xbox. The time it takes to get to the dashboard before and after this happened. That happened to my xbox series s regardless of being in standby and powersaving.
