XBOX ONE not doing 1080p 60fps any time soon.!!

According to Peter Dodd the Xbox One will not be doing 1080p 60fps any time soon because of a weaker and cheaper CPU and GPU because of the cost of the Kinect they went with a less expensive chip set and the cloud will not help for at least 5 years, he said
better tools are coming but they are a ways out. According to him the RAM is not so much the problem as the weaker chips cannot process the information fast enough and there is enough room for the 1080p renders in the RAM just cannot process it.

1080p 60FPS Game DVR record option for Xbox One X

At this time of posting you can only get 60FPS @ 4K but not @1080p on Xbox One X. I use my Xbox One X on my 1080p display. An option for 60FPS @1080p would be great and maybe even option to increase bit rate.

 

It's perfectly capable of 1080p and 60 FPS if you scale back on some other things. Devs are going to start with the better hardware though (PS4) and then scale their games back to also work on the X1. The easiest way to scale them back is either dropping
the resolution or the frame rate.

The cloud isn't going to make a bit of difference as far as resolution or FPS though. No developer is going to go through the extra trouble to use the cloud to enhance those things when it just creates a huge amount of extra work and not everyone will have
their consoles connected to the internet. They'll continue to scale things back a bit like they have been doing so far.

 

Then why isTOMB RAIDER DE 1080p 60fps for PS4 and 1080p 30fps on the XB1 ? and the the cut seens are 1080p on the PS4 and 900p on the XB1.

 

Not true. All I'm going to say is, the developers had the ps4 devkits for months more than the Xbox one in the beginning.

and i'm still perfectly happy with getting my X1 first, higher graphics doesn't mean squat if you don't have the games, and other than The Order(maybe, since there is little information about the game) all the exclusives i want to play are on Xbox.

and about Tomb Raider running at 900p, THANK GOD we have tech experts to analyze frame by frame of the cut scenes to find or else no one would ever know.(see what i did there?)
