    Xbox One not detecting Wifi after downloading new dashboard.


    My xbox one can't detect my wifi signal when I sign on. Sometimes I have to completely power it down for it to start working. This all started happening after I downloaded the updated dashboard. Is this a known issue with the update or is it just a coincidence?

    "External Storage Ready" notification repeatedly, dumps current game

    I'm now experiencing the same problem but now it's not even detecting my WiFi. Not sure what to do Xbox One not detecting Wifi after downloading new dashboard. :(

    Same thing is happening to me. After the dash board update my console went offline and no longer detects my wifi unless I do a complete factory reset. If I turn off my Xbox I have to do it all over to get back online. I called Microsoft and after about an
    hour on the phone they couldn't come up with a solution.

    I found out that it was an issue with the new dashboard and having an external drive attached but it's fixed now. I no longer have any problems. Hope yours was the same and is resolved.

    I had a similar issue - I manually put in my wi-fi info and I haven't had problems since.

    Are you using WiFi for connecting to Xbox Live..?? WiFi does kick in & test, when on the Splash Screen & it might be waiting after WiFi Checks, until it syncs controllers..

    (If it doesn't have an Ethernet Cable Detected etc..)

    Same Here. After only a few tries to download the new dashboard, it worked. I now have the new dashboard but I can't sign in to Xbox live.
