    Microsoft Community

    I have the muted icon next to the battery icon for several weeks now and I've tried everything from Firmware updates, to Hard resets and other hardware. Does anyone know of a patch or something that's messing with my system? Would appreciate a troubleshoot
    if anything.

    Are you sure the headset is compatible with an Xbox One?

    No Dongle but it works with a charging Base that's connected via USB and optical wire with the Xbox and transmits the audio to the headphone that way. I hear everyone fine in chat, Xbox just doesn't seem to be able to detect the mic inside the headphones
    so I can't talk back and its driving me crazy. Worked fine a few days ago, then Xbox had a update and BAM all to the chitshow.

    Hi,

    Have you updated the firmware? Will you provide a little insight as to what happens when you try and connect the headset to the console. Does the headset have a dongle or addition item that connects to your console that communicates with the headset?
