    XBOX ONE NOT CONNECTING TO HDMI?


    Yesterday, we unplugged my Xbox and today, when we plugged it back in, it turned on but wouldn't connect to the TV. I tried all suggested resets by Microsoft, didn't work. I've tried other HDMI cables, still didn't work. Wiggled the cable around a bit, didn't
    work! As said, the Xbox turns on and the TV is fine, but it simply won't connect.

    And yes, I tried other TVs, it didn't work either.

    There are 2 HDMI ports in the back of the Xbox one is an input and one is an output make sure your HDMI on the back of the Xbox is coming out of the HDMI port out to tv.

    I had the same problem and had to replace it using my factory warranty at a Microsoft store. I changed Tv's, cables and did everything support asked and nothing.

    The One has two HDMI ports: "HDMI In" and "HDMI Out".

    Cable box plugs into "HDMI In"

    Tv plugs into "HDMI Out"

    No,as long as the HDMI port on the back of your cable box is "HDMI Out", you will be fine. You get a HDMI cord to go from cable box to xbox HDMI IN port , and a HDMI cord to go from xbox HDMI Out Port to tv.

    The Xbox One X is the only console that has HDMI 2.1. Xbox One S has HDMI 2.0.
    The Xbox One S and One X both use HDMI 2.0,

    The Xbox One uses HDMI 1.4

    The Series X will have HDMI 2.1.

    Removing the Xbox One eliminates the issue, and swapping HDMI cables into and out of the Xbox One does nothing. Signal loss is basically permanent now.

    HDMI cable from Xbox One to receiver is the one provided with Xbox One, all other HDMI are insignia highspeed HDMI.
