    Xbox one not being able to connect to Xbox live through wireless network.


    I cannot connect to Xbox live through wireless network or wired network but the weird part is.. when I connect to the WiFi on my phone and I run my phone as a hotspot I can connect to the internet on the Xbox one no problem but if i try connecting just straight
    to the router or wired connection is says the services aren't available. I also tried running ports but that did not seem to work either. I was reading that other people using Time Warner Cable had problems as well with the Xbox one compatibility but they
    manage to get it working. Any help?

    Modem: Motorola sbg6580

    Router: Netgear wireless n600 dual band router wndr3400 model.

    Requirements
    • An Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter (only available with the original Xbox 360 console).
    • A wireless access point, gateway or router that is compatible with Xbox LIVE.
    • High Speed Internet connection, preferably DSL or cable.

    Note: It is not advisable to use Satellite, 3G or 4G mobile connections due to the possibility of slow performance or lag.

    Thanks for trying that. We have steps for you to try if your Xbox One console

    cannot see your wireless network     .

    If you are then able to see your wireless network but unable to connect to Xbox Live, please try running through the steps in our Xbox Live connection troubleshooting
    guide.

    Try setting a static IP on your Xbox One, and then put that IP address into the DMZ field and make sure DMZ is enabled.

    That setting puts the console into a special area outside of the normal router settings for NAT, Firewall, etc and should allow for a smooth connection whether via WiFi or Ethernet. Xbox one not being able to connect to Xbox live through wireless network. :)
