    Xbox One Noise


    I bought an xbox one last thursday and after it started the update something inside started making a whirring sound. I passed this off as the hdd getting written onto by the update. The noise never stopped. Now i have a new one by the suggestion of support
    and the new one is doing the same thing only worse. Now what?

    Ok well now it makes noise and you can hear it but its very minimal. Do other people's xbox one make noise? Please reply

    In october beta noise only in game time, in september anywhere except game time :/ Can anybody make video with yours october beta noise?

    Return it asap! Just hope you get one without a defective fan next time.

    Make sure there is nothing heavy on top of the console and all vents are not covered. If the noise continues apply for a repair or return it and get a new one

    i had same problem i decided to hit it and the noise stopped but i dont advise you to do it if you wanna risk it

    The noise from the video on youtube is fan noise. All xbox ones are the same.

    It is a bit hard to tell from the video if your Xbox One is indeed disfunctional or not. Is the noise noticeable from a distance, or while playing games? A small amount of noise is normal for the Xbox One.

    Mine has that same noise, but I have to put my ear directly up to the unit to hear it. I bought my XBOX One on launch and it has had that noise since day one. I wouldn't worry about it. I think it's a common noise.
