Xbox one : no wired network .

Hi,

All of a sudden today my xbox one decided to no longer see my wired connection. the only option i have is to setup a wireless connection witch works fine however decrease in speed is the issue.

it like is not even detecting the wired connect anymore. Of course i tested the wired connection on my laptop and it works fine...no issues, but when i plug it into the xbox one the light behing the router for that specific port doesnt even turn on... As
if its not connected to anything... Been playing for 5 months now on that wired and never had an issue until now...

any ideas ?

Cannot connect using wifi

i am having trouble connecting my xbox one to my wireless network. When i go into network settings the current network status states that it has a wired connection set up and will not let me access wireless net work set up despite there being no cable plugged
in for a wired connection at all.

 

wifi issues

So recently my xbox one has not been able to connect to my wifi network. It has before in the past and one day up and stopped working. I've called xbox customer support and went through troubleshoot steps with them but so far they have not helped. The wifi network shows up but whenever i try to test the network connection i get an error message that says 'cannot get an IP address'. I tried a wired connection and that works but i am not able to keep it wired all the time. If anyone might have a solution please help!

I am sorry to here about the connection issues. Let's see what we can do to get this issue sorted. I would like to recommend a few troubleshooting steps if you have not tried them already.

Please give the following steps a try:

• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
  
• Leave the console unplugged for 5 minutes and plug in your console.
• Power on your console.
• From the home screen, press the menu button on your controller.
• Select settings.
• Select network.
• On the Network Settings screen, select Test network connection.
  

If your wired connection is still not recognized, I would also recommend trying a different Ethernet cable and trying a different port on your router.

Tried everything still no luck... Guess i got that xbox one Beta

Going to return it to best buy i guess if you have no other sugestions ....
