xbox one - no signal on TV - Turns off after 30sec automatically

    Hello,

I have been using Xbox one for last 5 years. It was working as power save mode when turned off. Recently I changed settings for quick boot up, so it was not going to power save mode when turned off. Xbox was running ok.

Suddenly today I turned on Xbox with remote, I didnt get any video on TV. Couple of restart from front power on button - no change.

I have performed cold reboot by pressing front power button for 10sec to shutdown xbox - still same issue.

Disconnected power for 2 mins before turning on xbox using front power button, xbox turns itself off after 30secs - still no video signal.

I have tried pressing eject button + power ON button for 20 sec, Xbox turns itself off after 30 secs automatically - still no video

Pressed eject button + remote sync button on side + power ON button for 20sec, Xbox turns on and then turns itself off after 30 secs automatically - still no video on power on.

Can anyone please help to resolve issue?

    Thank you

    :)

xbox one - no signal on TV - Turns off after 30sec automatically

Hello NimitPujara, I hope everything is going well!

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support!

    Please check the following points:

    • Confirm that both your TV and console are turned on
    • Check that your TV is set to the correct input signal (HDMI)
    • Check that the HDMI cable connections to your console and to your TV are secure
    • Check that the HDMI cable is connected to the "out to TV" port on the console
    • Try plugging the HDMI cable into a different HDMI port on your TV
    • Try using a different HDMI cable to connect your console to your TV
    • Try connecting your console to a different TV
    • Power cycle your console: Press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console, and then turn it on again

If the issue persists, try resetting your display settings

    1. If there's a disc in the console, eject it.
    2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console.
    3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until you hear the second beep or see the console start up in low resolution mode (the Xbox startup screen will appear slightly pixelated).
      • Note If you have an Xbox Series S or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, you’ll need to press and hold the Xbox button and the Pair button instead, as your console does not have an Eject button.
    4. In either case, this will start up your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To change this setting, press the Xbox button to open the guide. Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options, and then select the resolution you want from the Display dropdown.
    5. If you’re required to complete these steps on every startup, you’ll want to change your TV connection to HDMI as shown in step 3 of the next section, "Your screen is blank and you use an AVR in your setup." For more info, see How to adjust the display settings on your Xbox.

I wish you a lovely day, and I hope this helps you out!

    Kind Regards

    Stay safe, and happy gaming!

how to get xbox to turn on/off projector

There is a work around to this is you set the projector to turn off automatically after x minutes when there is no signal.

The only other option available is to have the xbox set to power saving instead of instant on. The ability to send the Power Off signal in this way is done through the Xbox One in Settings > Power & Startup > TV & A/V power options

    Direct TV and TV errors

No that's pretty much correct, the Xbox one doesn't always turn my TV on or off. I know that there's also a DirecTV issue but you guys are addressing that. For my TV, when I turn it off at night with a verbal command, occasionally Xbox will turn the TV
off. I'll have to turn the TV off manually on the set or via remote. Actually the bigger issue is the TV not coming on with the verbal Xbox on command. And it's really more than that, it appears that the Xbox gets my TV stuck and I can't turn the TV on
manually, on the set or via remote, when the Xbox is on. the past few days I have discovered that if I turn the Xbox on and it doesn't turn the TV on I have to turn the Xbox off and then turn the TV on manually followed by the voice on command for the Xbox.
And occasionally, after performing those steps, the Xbox will come on and then automatically turn the TV off and I'll have to start all over again. To me, and I'm certainly not tech savvy, its almost like the Xbox gets stuck sending the signal to my TV or
locks up the signal somehow. Powering down doesn't always fix these issues. I have re-linked the remote several times now in hopes of solving the issue but it hasn't.

Thanks for your help I appreciate it
