Xbox One No Signal Display Issue

Hello everyone recently i tried to power on my Xbox One console and when i did a message appeared on my monitor telling me i had no signal. Naturally i went online and researched ways to fix this issue and so far nothing
has worked does anybody have any idea on how to fix this?

List of things i have tried so far:

    • Making sure the HDMI cable was plugged into the right port which it was
    • Restarting the console
    • Cold booting the console by holding the power button
    • loading the console into a low resolution mode by holding the disc eject and power button to power on
    • Switching HDMI cables
    • Switching Monitors and trying on a normal T.V. screen
    • Switching HDMI ports and starting console on Satellite/Cable port then shutting down, switching ports, and restarting
Now i have my console turned on and if i touch the power button once to power it off it makes the sound like it's going to power off but it doesn't blink and the light stays on so i have to hold the power button to
turn it off each time now. If i go onto my windows 10 desktop to see if it is powered on while the light is on without signal it says it is not powered on and is unable to power it on from the Xbox app on my desktop.

If possible i want to find a fix to this issue without having to send it in to be repaired or serviced as i have already contacted Microsoft support and that was recommended by them.

    :)

  3. Xbox One S No display Signal

If the TV is showing No Signal on it this could be a couple different things obviously you already did the troubleshooting on that page.

Has it ever worked or did this just start happening?

Have you done something different like unhooked the HDMI cables out of the back of the Xbox for some reason?

Do you have it hooked directly to the TV or do you have it going through an A/V receiver (surround sound system)

Which is what I am going to go over here

    1. The tv itself is not on the right input/channel itself so when you have it hooked up go through all of the inputs and see if it shows up.

    2. There are two HDMI ports in the back of the Xbox One is an input so you can passthrough another device like cable box and one is an output to the TV you want to make sure that the HDMI is coming out of the Out to TV

    Signal Display Issue

    Hi Mamanallah,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue with a blank screen. We recommend trying out the
troubleshoot wizard for blank screen. Please be sure to try all of these
and let us know. If still having issue not seeing anything you may want to think on getting the console repaired. You can set one up on the
    device support page.

    Thanks,

    Brad

Issues Connecting PC through HDMI-In on XBox One

The issue seams to be that the xbox is disconnecting its own hdmi input when connecting a laptop. It displays laptop screen a few seconds then says it lost signal. but just prior to the supposed signal loss I hear the hardware disconnected chime. (Windows
8.1 to Xbox One via Hdmi Pass thru)

Xbox one and Denon AVR-791 no audio/image

After one day of having the xbox one hooked up to get the cable box hdmi signal from my Yamaha RX-V665 receiver, the cable box seemed to be overheating (presumably from Xbox pulling video constantly / polling the tv guide). The issues seen are the xbox displays
"We lost your TV signal, make sure your cable or satellite box is on and plugged in to the xbox" randomly while watching TV, at which time the display on the cable box shows "DUI (download user interface) as if it has just been restarted. Tested using through
receiver and directly connected to cable box with the same results, TV freezes and signal is lost often within moments randomly. Immediately after having the issue I can hook the cable box up directly to the TV at which time the TV signal works flawlessly.
Therefore the issue has to do with how the xbox one is utilizing the HDMI signal to and from the cable box. The cable box has never exhibited these issues before and doesn't have them when not connected to the xbox.

it is just an HDMI passthrough, the TV window on the dasboard will display whatever video signal comes through over HDMI. the Xbox One displays info on the video using its built in overlay
