Xbox One no picture

Hi,

So I purchased my Xbox One last week at home and it has worked fine on my tv there. I have now taken it with me to university and plugged it in to my TV here. Initially it started up on the green screen but sat there for far too long so I decided to restart
it. Since then I have not received a picture signal in to my TV. The Xbox and the power supply both switch on and stay on, but nothing else happens. I have tried everything I can think of (unplug for 30 seconds, unplug power supply, reset picture settings,
using a different hdmi cable, using a different dhmi port) yet nothing has worked, though my 360 and PS4 both work perfectly so it isn't the TV. As well as this my controller isn't staying connected to the console but it does switch it on.

Does anyone have an idea of what is going on and how to fix it? I really don't want to return it or anything as the store is 130 miles away.

Hi, can you try to do a factory reset?

1. power off your console by pressing the xbox key on the front for aprox 10 seconds
2. when powered off, press and hold, the binding/sync button + the eject button + power button
3. wait untill you will hear 2 beeps (aprox 10 to 15 second)
4. release the buttons and a menu will apear on the display from where you can do a factory reset.

If the screen at step 4 doesn't show up,

file in a service and repair case.

Hello!

If you've replaced the cables, disconnected it from power and tried it on a different TV, most likely there's something defective with your system. As long as it's still under warranty you should be able to easily get it fixed/replaced.

Okay I've tried everything and even factory reset via USB failed, so I'm going to have to return it to the store that is now 3 hours away.

I was really hoping after having 7 RRODs that the Xbox One would be a bit more reliable but obviously I was mistaken. Thanks MS.
