    Xbox One no longer working with cable. Anyone else?


    So as implied by the title... I woke up this morning and my Xbox One would no longer allow me to stream the cable television through the Xbox One. I called my cable company (Midcontinent Communications), and they said it's not because they don't allow
    it, but the actual network distribution. Anyone else seeing anything like this?

    Xbox One headset adapter question

    So I have the Xbox One headset adapter, and the 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable messed up today. I know it's the cable, and not the actual adapter because I was moving the cable around and it worked only in certain angles.

    I was just wondering if anyone uses alternate 2.5mm/3.5mm cables for their headset adapter. Tried looking some up but some reviews said that it didn't work for the Xbox One adapter. I just don't feel like cashing in another $25 for a headset adapter, but if I have to, I will. I also no longer have warranty.

    PROJECTOR stopped working???

    The projector was working great then just stopped. The projector works on the tv, pc,, and DVD player but no longer on the Xbox. Does anyone know what is up? I tried new cables but nothing.

    Prior to my switch to DirecTV, U-Verse was giving me issues. It would randomly cut sound, it would delay visual, etc. Now that I don't have any of these issues with DirecTV, I feel it was a U-Verse box update that caused this. I would solve this by resetting
    the U-Verse box through settings. I hope you find success.

    Xbox One External Hard Drive Suggestions.

    Well I have resolved this issue in case anyone else has the same problem. I replaced the usb cable that came with the Touro S drive with a 6ft. Ativa brand Usb 3.0 Cable and it works great. For some reason the Xbox one does not like the cable that ships
    with the Touro S Drive. I noticed that the ativa cable is a lot longer, thicker, and better quality than the one that shipped with the drive.

    Thanks for your reply Wolf. I still am not sure how the pass-through on the Xbox One will sound when watching TV with surround sound, however. Is anyone else knowledgeable on how that type of thing works? Also, if anyone has a link to the Kinect recognizing
    and responding to channel switch requests I'd like to read it. Luckily my Cable Provider is one partnered with Microsoft.

    2. you are misinformed, the xbox one will not use the cloud to become 3 xbox ones. it won't work like that, it's just PR BS. from what I and pretty much anyone else can tell the cloud is just a gimmick, not to mention sony can do all this stuff too.

    3. there is only an HDMI port on the xbox one. to get it to work with tv it has to be plugged into your cable box so doubt it will work with a computer monitor.
