    Xbox One no longer signs in, crashes on every game, and will not turn off after power surge.


    About a week ago there was a power surge during a bad storm, the power never actually went off, it just made all the lights get really bright then dim, then went back to normal. In that time it turned off my Xbox One, I didn't think
    anything of it until I turned it back on and couldn't sign in. So I tried hard restarting it (hold down the power button until it turns off), when it went off it stayed off for about 5 seconds then turned itself back on. I looked up some stuff about that,
    and everything people said might be the problem wasn't, so I'm putting it under the power surge. Also when I start up any game it will of course ask me to sign in, when it does I can actually sign in for about a second then it will automatically sign me back
    out then crash the game. This has been going on for some time, and as you could guess has made it impossible to play anything. I would appreciate some help for once from the official support people, as every other post I have ever made has never been graced
    with there presence, except once with the AI moderator who just told me to do everything I already did. I'm not made of money, and if my Xbox isn't salvageable I'm not going to run back out and get a new one, so I'll just be stuck with my cruddy laptop for
    the time being. Which I really don't want to happen, as I have invested a lot over the years with games and their respective DLC. So please can anyone from the official support help me out, just a professional suggesting or recommendation would really help.

    Xbox One X Major Crash!

    After 2 days my X1X Crashed en restarted during gaming, After the reboot it went well for 2 days. After that there was the Major crash.

    The problems after the crash.

    - Wont turn on, only hear a xbox bleep sound and turned off. ( serveral times )

    - Xbox turns on for 10 sec and turns off.

    - Xbox sometimes turn on with black screen and no menus.. And after some minutes it crash again.. and reloop start over!

    What i have tried.

    - Unplug the Xbox one X from power waited for a minute ( no reaction )

    - Put the Xbox one X directly to wall plug.. ( no reaction )

    I returned the xbox one X to the store... I will get a new one ( Have to wait because they are out of stock! )

    But i want to know is this another launch problem??

    same issue. Mine happened after a power flash (not a surge) where my electronics turned off. Kinect works and controller works but touch button no longer working

    Is your Xbox plugged into a surge protector or a power strip? If so, then that may cause problems with the power in the system. It is recommended to plug the Xbox directly into the wall outlet, as it has its own built-in surge protection.

    My xbox keeps taking ages to load, I then have to fully refresh it for it to work, even then sometimes the friends part doesnt show up.

    The Xbox One's Power supply already has a surge protector. If you use an extension plug/adapter with a surge protector you may run to issues as the console will be double surge protected.

    If you'e not providing sufficient power to the console, it may become unresponsive, fail to load games and apps, and crash during game-play.

    The causes for this could be a game crash, a failing power supply (in this case the power supply is inside the xbox one x), or a ventilation issue.
