    my xbox one that was running perfectly fine on my tv stopped working for some reason, but i hooked it up to my monitor and it ran just fine, i tried it on another tv and it also didnt work

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues playing with your Xbox console on your TV. I understand that it works on a different monitor.

    If you have the original Xbox One, it supports up to 1080p. If the TV where you're trying to plugin your Xbox has higher native resolution, you need to adjust the resolution of your TV to 1080p to match the output resolution of your Xbox.

    Thank you for responding, as it is working perfectly fine on the TV but does not provide the same resolution on the monitor it looks like the problem could be that the monitor does not support the resolution.

    Take a look at the following support article for more information on
    Adjusting display settings on your Xbox One    . 

    [b]Note: [/b][i]If you have an Xbox One S or X and your TV supports 120Hz over HDMI, you’ll see this setting under
[b]Display[/b] > [b]Resolution[/b]. [/i]

    Xbox One will not with smaller TVs (32inch and 24inch), but works with big samsung (50 inch)

    That's weird. Im using a 21 inch gaming monitor and if works fine on it. It also works perfectly fine with my Sony TV which is like 50 something inches.
