Xbox one new "mapping" for their controllers, is anyone else having trouble with it?

I tried to use the mapping option to get around my broken RB button, but what I didn't think of at the time was that when I chose button a to switch with it, that meant I could no longer get past anything since everything is based around A. I know I wasn't
thinkin but now I can't start any of my games cause the RB button that is suppose to be A now, doesn't work! I can't get it to reset because in order to I need to hit A!!!!! Help????

Do you have an elite controller? Thought the mapping was only available on elite

 

It's for all controllers but I don't use it.

 

^Yep, it's for all controllers. If the "A" button wasn't remapped, then I have no idea how to fix the problem. The only thing I can think of is to get another controller.

 

If you have smartglass on iOS or android phones or the Xbox app on a windows phone or surface then you can log into that and use the controller function to access the A button. Use that to remap the controller (I'm assuming it's a standard wireless one).

 

If your rb button is broke it would be simpler to replace the controller.

 

Do you have, or know anyone with, Kinect? Use that to navigate to the mapping screen.
