    XBOX One New Interface and Controller Battery Issues


    Do you know if anyone else is having issues with disconnections from multi user games such as the game Destiny since the new interface has come into play. I find it too coincidental that ever since the new interface has been applied, this is the only game
    that continues to disconnect from their servers I had no problems what so ever until this happened.

    I am also finding that the XBOX One system continues to tell me that my controller battery is low however it is plugged into the power, even without the power cable in, the battery lasts at least 2 days however the system tells me that it is low with one bar
    left on the meter. It is only a new XBOX One as well.

    Why can't you guys just leave good enough alone!!

    Controller not working

    Controller issues can be a result of multiple problems. 1: Battery issues, low battery level or loose battery. 2: In game control settings. 3: At worse it could be controller damage, which you will need to get fixed or buy a new one.

    Controller Battery Status Issue

    I know that I have asked for help on this before and have previously done what the guys suggested but I have found an issue, and think it needs addressing -

    When my controller is NOT plugged in for charging and playing, the battery status in the Xbox menu shows as a full battery however when the controller IS plugged in and charging and playing then XBOX One pops up and says that the battery is low however I
    know it isn't as I plug it in as a refresher charge but the controller battery is still over 80% charged.

    This has ONLY happened since the new interface has come into play so am presuming that there is a bug there somehow.

    Hi there,

    Can you try power cycling (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console) your console? This has a tendency to flush out many issues, so it may fix the things you're experiencing.

    Let us know how you get on.

    I have to agree with Maxen13 a good power cycle tends to flush out a few of the issues especially some one the online gaming ones, let us know if it works.

    Thanks guys, I will give this a go, I play the game Destiny a lot and have noticed lately that it has been disconnecting a lot, it hasn't done this for a very long time and seems to only have occurred since the new interface.

    Ok just did the power cycle, it appears to have fixed the issue with the controller, thanks so much for that. However not sure about the Destiny game as have not tried it yet, let's hope by doing this procedure that it has fixed that problem as it is driving
    me crazy XBOX One New Interface and Controller Battery Issues :)

    Ok just did the power cycle, it appears to have fixed the issue with the controller, thanks so much for that. However not sure about the Destiny game as have not tried it yet, let's hope by doing this procedure that it has fixed that problem as it is driving
    me crazy :)

    Have you tried the controller with the xbox and the new batteries? That would confirm where the issue lies...whether it's a battery/controller thing or a PC connection issue.

    Having said that, it's still very strange that it works with old batteries but won't work with new batteries...that implies there's an issue with the new batteries

    Just to confirm:

    - Controller worked fine without issue with the original batteries. It synced fine and played fine

    - New batteries put in and it won't sync, let alone be able to be used

    - Put old batteries back in and the controller works but the sync button doesn't

    That correct? Another question: What are the original batteries and what are the new ones?
