Xbox one new adapter coming march will my headset work with it

How does it work with the headset

Hi guys,

I'm about to buy a headset for my new Xbox One. I'm actually confused with the whole headsets.

I know that there are headsets for XBOX 360 and with the new adapter coming up, I will be able to use those, but do I have to put my MIC into the Kinect and my audio cable into the adapter??

When I wait for an official XBOX ONE headset (Turtle Beach offers 3) does it work as normal? Just plug it in to the controller and it works?

I hope you can help me out here.

I imagine the chat will work but you will need to find a way of outputting the game audio as that isn't an optical headset

In all seriousness, back when I played CoD4 religiously I used the X1 and it suited my needs perfectly. If you want to get serious then you'd want to look for an optical surround sound headset like the high-end Turtle Beach or the Astro A40s/A50s. The more
you spend, the more you get.

Bear in mind though that the Xbox One doesn't currently support Dolby Surround output so at this time

 

all i want them for is really to hear foot steps in game

One more question which one's would be better choice to buy

Turtle beach XO fours

Turtle Beach XO seven

they both sound the same on the description,am guessing you would hear enemy footsteps etc

 

XO Four is stereo, XO Seven is surround.
