    xbox one network trouble

ok so since the last system update for my xbox one, about a month or more ago, it does not want to connect to the internet on any network regardless of what i do.

i have done every solution that may suggest a fix.

my NAT Type always stays at moderate,

    and high packet data loss.

this has been frustrating me for a while, i cannot fix it, is there something i havn't tried?

    i have:

    Reformat the system

    factory reset

    unplugged modem for 5mins

    cleared xbox one cache

    disconnected internet and unplugged modem

    tried friends networks

yes my network has the more then sufficient network status to run.

do i have a busted network adaptor in the xbox one?

    :)

Is Sony PlayStation 3 really ahead of XBox 360 Console?

I have owned both consoles and I never saw much between them in graphics or gameplay. I think I prefer the ps3 controller but that's just a personal preference. One thing I really did like about my PS3 was how easy it was to network. I had trouble connecting my XBox 360 to my home network. Not sure why.

While packet loss could be a fault with your console's network adaptor (its really unlikely, there are other far more likely causes, but it is possible), there's nothing you can do on your console itself that has any impact on NAT. NATing is everything to
do with your router and internet connection. I'll provide a link at the end of my reply that provides a good breakdown on the difference between NAT types but, essentially, so long as you have the appropriate ports forwarded and no firewall running on your
router your NAT type should be open. Depending on your ISP you may be a victim of CGN (Carrier Grade NAT) where your ISP itself does their own NATing... if they're following convention your public IP should be in the 100.64.0.0/10 network if this were the
case. If your ISP does use CGN though there's nothing you can do about it except for request that they stop and assign you your own public IP.

Back on the topic of packet loss though, you should try the wireless or Ethernet adaptor (whichever you don't normally use) to see if the other interface experiences the same loss to rule out a fault with any individual interface on the console.

Anyway, here's the article I mentioned:

Oh! Another thought. Try pinging your console from another PC or laptop on your network. This should identify help if the packet loss is being caused locally on your network, in which case you can try different interfaces, cables, remove interference etc.
or if the packet loss if occurring on the internet connection.
