Xbox One NETFLIX issues.

Wondering if anyone is having this same issue I am having.

When I launch Netflix on Xbox One and start watching something, the first 10 seconds of the show I am watching freezes, and Netflix seems to buffer / load. Sometimes it will get to 100% and continue without problems but a lot of the times Netflix never gets
to 100% and I get an error that ''Netflix cant play this title right now''

This happens all the time on Xbox One but never on my PS4 or Xbox 360. My internet bandwith is 50/50mb so I know that is not the problem.. I tried re-installing the app on X1, re-signing in, changing the ethernet cord and direct connection to the modem -
and it still seems to happen.

And another issue I seem to have only on Xbox One is that Netflix does not seem to remember where I left off on a movie/show. I always need to change the episode and find where I left off.

I have issues with Netflix, stopped using Xbox One use PS4 or Roku with no issues...

 

Netflix connection issues.

Was wondering if anyone else is having Netflix connection issues? It's not connecting using Xbox One app, but when I use Netflix on my blu-ray player, it connects.

 

the only problems i've had with Netflix is that from time to time, after selecting which Netflix profile to use, it doesn't load the movies, it just says Netflix across the top and shows the loading icon but doesn't go away until i quit Netflix and go back
into it.

 

I'm guessing no one on my friends list are having problems with NETFLIX because 99% of them live on it. lol Apparently they're not those "hardcore gamers" I've heard tales of.

 

I haven't had this problem and I watch a lot of Netflix, my internet speed is only 15/15.

 

What is 50/50mb?? Lol

Try uninstalling and re installing the App. Also it sounds like your internet speed is too blame. Unless your trying to tell me you have 50 upload speed

 

@Listed mia 510 why do you think he's wrong with the 50Mbps upload speed? My ISP offers 175Mbps download/175Mbps upload, it costs 102$ a month, but it's available as an option.

 

Yes I have 50mb down and 50mb upload. My internet is not to blame as it obviously works flawlessy on my 360 and PS4, I just prefer to watch things on my Xbox One since it's the one I use most.

I'm going to try to reinstall it again but I doubt will work.

 

@Bl4ck I was just asking what 50/50 was and thought it was funny. I never said he was wrong.

 

You could have 100/100 and it still be your ISP. Personally at 30/5 I've had non issues here in the states. With any streaming on x1

 

Do you know, I have never actually tired the Netflix app. I have a Netflix app on my Smart TV and I just use that instead. I've heard it usually works though.

 

I had and issue with Netflix on my PS4 when I first got the console. Instead of calling Sony, I called Netflix. They logged the issue, stated I wasn't the only one having the problem and eventually they released an update that fixed the issue. Might not
hurt giving that route a try.

 

@Merlin4421 Yes you are correct. However, if it works with no problems on my other consoles, it can't be my ISP can it?

All the consoles are located in the same room and are all hard-wired too. I don't know what to do.

I also reinstalled the app, same problem happens. I checked my NAT type and it's open too.

I am running out of ideas.

 

Have you done a detailed network test in settings to see what you are getting? if that's all good id contact Netflix like mgzin66 suggested.
