Xbox One needs the ability to add an external hard drive.

Along with a long list of things that you can't do is add extra storage on Xbox One. With game storage requirements getting larger we now require the ability to add more storage. I'm sure I am not the only one out there who has a hard drive that's full or
almost full.

When do we get games with gold?

The update for June adds the ability to use an external hard drive. There are some other things as well but the hard drive thing is the major addition.

 

Music Playback

I think Xbox needs to add back the feature that allows us to upload music onto the hard drive or allows playback from an external hard drive. It also needs to allow background music play just like the Xbox 360. How can power change everything if you aren't
making use of the power. I want to play hit games while playing music of my choice just like the Xbox 360. Lets urge Xbox to allow us to upload music to their hard drive or play music from our external hard drives with the ability to play music in the background
like the Xbox 360. It's best for business and consumers just saying.

 

if you are registered for the beta updates you can do this very soon. if not then external storage will be added as a normal update sometime in late june. check out major nelsons webpage for details.

 

As per ODS daryl121 post, External Hard Drive is coming very soon via the June update. The update will enable support OF USB 3.0 drives of at least 256GB or larger. Two drives can be connected and management at one time. You will be able to transfer full
games including all DLC and app to the storage device
