Xbox one needs better avatars and gamer picks

well i think the xbox one should have better avatar items and pictures for the more older gamer as ime in my 30s i would like to see less child like pics and the avatar options are rather rubbish how about more realistic looking stuff on their its only an
opinion thought i would put it out their . play well play fair people

What Happens To Our Old Avatars?

I am wondering what will happen to our "old Avatars" since they announed we are getting new 1's this fall? We better be able to still use our old stuff on the XBOX 360 (even after the XBOX 360 goes offline one day). In my opinion the new Avatars should work
only on XBOX ONE, XBOX ONE S, XBOX ONE X (also the old Avatars should continue on as a XBOX 360 exclusive). The new Avatars should not be on XBOX 360 at all since we have XBOX 360 Avatar games there we need them for). What do you think?

 

NEW XBOX ONE AVATARS IN APRIL

I read that the new "Xbox One Avatars" are comming out in April (i have some good advice for Microsoft regarding new "Xbox One Avatars" that I am sure most Xbox users will agree with). Make sure the old "Xbox 360 Avatars" will still work on the "Xbox 360" because
many games used them (also many people paid alot of money for them & they want to continue to see the old "Xbox 360 Avatars" even as that console goes offline one day). So my opinion is new "Xbox One Avatars" just on Xbox One & old "Xbox 360 Avatars" just
on xbox 360! Old Avatars are like old games (we still want to use what we paid for). Enough said!

I agree. I wish there were gamer pics for specific games. Not sure why they haven't implemented those? Seems like it would be a quick cash grab for MS and developers.

 

Back in the early days of the Xbox 360, they would release a few gamerpics along with each game - I wish they'd bring that back. I loved getting new gamerpics with each game.

I never understood why they didn't let Achievement Icons be used as Gamerpics last gen. Devs were designing upwards of fifty icons per game, perfectly sized as gamerpics, and perfect incentive for gamers to unlock more achievements for more unique profile
options among millions of gamers.

But then... I never understood why the last 360 dashboard design had to have a stupid gray thing at the bottom of the screen blocking the background image. Who's call was that?

But yeeeaaaaaa... what was I saying? Yes! They should attach icons/gamerpics to achievements, and let gamers pick the ones they like. I know they're doing wallpaper on the One... but c'mon. How often do you change that? I've had

Megan Fox's eyes peeking over the grey blur of pointlessness on my 360 dash since forever.

As GG said, I miss when games released themes and Gamer Pics and Themes and Avatar props and clothes. I am disappointed with the gamer pics at the moment. I would love to use my Smokin Aces on Xbox One.

I liked the Gamerpic you got from the Xbox 360 games, hopefully something comes along to expand and personalize our own Gamerpic.

I think they should add some sort of store back to the Avatar App. They had a lot of option there on the 360. It seems a lot of people are requesting it on the feedback site.

 

I think it's a great idea to get more gamerpics up. I'm not too into avatars all that much as I kind of lost interest in that with the 360's avatar. I wouldn't mind XBL releasing gamerpics to do with movies, tv, musci, and other such things. Much like they
did with the 360.
