Xbox One needs a Restart App or App Killer

I use both the Netflix and Xbox fitness apps. Both will hang up if the console has been shut down and restarted, forcing a hard reset to clear the memory out. A simple Restart in the setting for the app or an app killer to shut them down would be really
nice.

Xbox Accessory App Blacks out

Hello

so i recently purchased an xbox one elite controller

when i wanted to configure the layout of the buttons the system told me to open the xbox accessory app.

I opened the app, however the whole screen turned black the app was running but i am unable to see what i am doing.

this still continues after several restarts and closing of the app

please clarify what i need to be doing or need to fix thank you

PS: i have an Xbox one S

Who needs a killer app, auburn? The killer app you're looking for IS the Xbox One itself! With all of the things that the Kinect allows me to do quickly and easily, it was more than worth it IMO. I'm sorry you don't feel the same way...

 

You can always end an app by hitting the menu button to the right next to the guide button and then selecting quit.

 

A task/app manager sounds like a really interesting idea. If you wanted to, you could submit that idea to feedback.xbox.com and if it garners enough attention, it might be added in as a feature.
