Xbox One needs a new dashboard design badly

So we can now set our own backgrounds but its almost pointless because of the layout of the dashboard as it takes so much space up.I personally think we should be able to personalise our dashboards the way we want with the ability to add or remove panels
and in the colour config the ability to make a panel transparent.Id have the panels transparent and remove sections or panels that hold any interest (like where i am out of my friends on how many points ive earned etc) if i could.Does anyone else feel like
its cluttered and coul d do with a redesign?

XBOX 360 Dashboard update

Can the XBOX 360 get a dashboard update to look like the XBOX ONE dashboard like the black background and choosing the color of the tiles but can still add a different back round because the new Dashboard Design Is Really appealing to the eye many do agree

Xbox one needs this badly. It's simple and a very useful tool.

 

Yeah I agree now we can have custom backgrounds but it's almost pointless because you can barely see it !

 

they should do what they have done in windows phone 8.1, there you can have a background and the tile are translucent so you can see the background as your moving around.

 

Or they should have better specific images for dashboards which complement the tiles.

I am sure they will have something better soon, this is only step 1.

 

Even being able to remove tiles, as mentioned would be boost. Only pin customisation ain't enough.

 

As I use my XBox ONE to play games on more than to ogle the dashboard this concern is getting filed somewhere between "Would like to one day pet a Yak" and "Take the time to read some of the supermarket discount ads that pop through my letterbox".

Using your console for games is so yesterday. You should be using all the social features like Facebook (when it comes), Twitter (oh we don't have that), and watching the great content you have in Onedrive and maybe even use the TV features and OneGuide
so you can record your favourite shows and miss another goal with the great sports features (well until the world cup finished).

On a serious note the Dashboard is awful and everything the OP asks for is a complete no brainer and should be top of the devs list. Backgrounds that you can't even see are pointless with the current dashboard and I too want to organise my tiles and size
them. Be good if my dashboard followed my to Windows and my Nokia Windows phone. I thought that was the whole idea behind ONE
