    So sick of xbox. I have owned every Xbox console since their day 1 launches and have never had so many issues. My current issue is my NAT. I can not get it to become open, which was never an issue. For a long time I did the test multiplayer connection, then
    pull both triggers and bumbers and that worked. Annoying because I had to do it EVERYTIME I booted, but it worked. also for the record, I have not changed a single thing on my network.

    Fast forward to today, I cant open my NAT. No matter what I try. Also now it says "your network is behind a port-preserving port-symmetric NAT" All of a sudden this message pops up when it was never there before. Im about one small problem from a PS4. Cant
    find any information online to help that is current.

    Since I am sure someone will ask this is my setup. Modem > Netgear R6300 > Xbox One. Everything is wired

    Check your NAT on your Xbox One. Do a search on open nat for xbox one.

    First thing i do when i get removed from game world. Its always open.

    Xbox One NAT

    Have you opened ports on your router for your Xbox One to get through your network without interruption?

    portforward.com/.../Xbox_One.htm

    Or if you have 6300 v2

    portforward.com/.../Xbox_One.htm

    If that doesn't work... Try unplugging your Xbox One, modem and router for 30 seconds to 45 seconds. Then plug in the modem, wait 30 seconds. Once it is up plug in the router. Once the router is up running then plug in the XBOX, It should then pull the internet.

    I opened my ports last night after i posted this, seems to be working. hopefully it continues. thanks for the reply

    Moderate Nat...

    Some routers only allow one device to have open NAT settings If you have an Xbox 360 that has open NAT settings you have to remove it and then set the Xbox One as your device for open NAT.

    I have a BT home hub 3.0 and doing this gave me open NAT on my Xbox One.
