Xbox one nat type strict Sky router sr102

Hi guys getting to point of sale with my xbox one Xbox one nat type strict Sky router sr102 :( what is really annoying is that my Nat type was open for awhile no issues and then all of a sudden last week it restricted it self to strict and now i cannot open it tried everything i even contacted my
ISP to issue out a new router to hopefully solve the problem and nothing

    Router & Modem make/model: Sky SR102

    Wired or wireless: BOTH

Multiple consoles on the same network (Yes/No): YES

i have port forwarded the following ports

    • Port 88 (UDP)
    • Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
    • Port 80 (TCP)
    • Port 500 (UDP)
    • UDP Port 3544 (UDP)
    • UDP Port 4500 (UDP)
to a static IP address that i have set for my xbox one

and i have also tried placing the 360 into DMZ and also placing the One in DMZ to see if that made a difference running out of ideas

almost at the point of selling and getting something else hope you can help

    :)

  3. Strict NAT since isp enabled IPv6

is the Sky in bridge mode ? if not , your using 2 routers it seams.....I would plug the xbox straight into the sky sr102 , reboot everything and test nat again....also , I recall lots of issues with those sky hubs in the past....

Xbox one nat type strict Sky router sr102

Is your Xbox One wired directly to your router with no other devices in between? Does the SR102 support static DHCP/DHCP reservation? Does it support UPnP? Is UPnP enabled?

Yes the xbox is wired directly to the router no other devices in between and yeah it does i have reserved an IP address specifically for the Xbox one but i haven't for the 360. It does have UPnP and it is also enabled

If your router has a good, working UPnP implementation (many consumer-level routers do not), you should not even have to forward ports, just enable UPnP AND delete all Xbox-related port forwards, disable DMZ, and reboot the Xbox (hold power for 10 seconds).

If using UPnP doesn't get you open NAT, you will need to manually forward ports. Despite what many here recommend under the mistaken belief it is needed (largely due to misleading information on the MS support site), these are the only ports you need to
    forward:

    88 UDP

    3074 TCP and UDP

and if you have COD Ghosts, also:

    3075 TCP and UDP

    3076 TCP and UDP

Please delete all other Xbox-related port forwards, disable DMZ, forward ONLY the above ports to the Xbox, and reboot the Xbox (hold power for 10 seconds). Test again and, if the results screen does not show open NAT, hold LT+RT+LB+RB for additional information.
Report back with that information if you still have problems.

Ive tried that method and still not working when i hold the bumpers down for additional information ,

    (Test network connection)

    Shows i have a 90% wireless strength

    status code - 0x4000200005a

If i try to test multiplayer connection

"cannot find terredo IP address" error message i have tried resetting the router which a brand new one that i had issued out thinking the problem was with an older previous router.

    under Detailed network statistics

    Download speed 6.64Mbps

    Upload speed 0.89

    packet loss 0%

    MTU - 1480

    latency 169ms

    wireless strength 90%

    Still no idea ??

Xbox one nat type strict Sky router sr102

Is IPv6 enabled or disabled on your sr102? If enabled, try disabling it. If disabled, try enabling it.

What I do when my nat type changes is the following.

*Turn off and unplug the router for 30 seconds.

*Turn everything back on and goto your network setting and check the nat type.

*if still not open go to the advanced settings and set everything to manual and then to auto. Then check again. that usually opens it for me.

should that not work you may have to call sky broadband help and they will be able to help. Im guessing you have sky tv along with the net. If So press the interactive button on your remote and select sky customer services. then look for the broadband tab
and it will have a direct number to their broadband tech team who are far better at handling problems than the number you would normally call for the sky customer services.

    Hope this helps

  12. The Sky SR102 looks like a "Gateway" (modem and router in one) to me......if it is I doubt you'll ever get it the way you want......separate modem , separate router ( make sure the router supports "multiple consoles" as many do not) .......

  14. Seems to me the x1 is having problems with NAT as I also am getting the issue, firstly it was moderate then I got it to open stayed open for few months then with out any changes it went to strict even though all ports was open. Then for no reason what so
ever it went back to open.

I never had this issue ever on the x360 and to be honest having to check my network every time I goto play the x1 has got annoying and I have now ordered my first parts for a gaming PC rig and then it's bye bye x1 and Xbox live after over 7 years.

Funny thing is look at all the posts about this issue it has to be the console.

Alright guys what I had to do in the end was master rest the console it was annoying and a bit twitchy bum as I didn't know if I would lose all my data it because of the cloud everything was stored and my nat type became open !! My nat type issue was 100%
to do with the console I reckon in my case but so far has stayed open. To be fair i switch from the 360 to a ps3 and I'll probably do the same to the ps4 as I have had no other issue with any playstation I have owned Microsoft really need to sort the software
for the x1 I think To me seems like an un finished product. And for the staff do not take it personally they have all been brilliant !!
