    Xbox One Nat Strict


    Hi can anyone help me resolve my xbox one connectivity issues, I am unable to access party chat as my console sometimes sets itself to strict. When it does I have no option to get it to at least moderate. I am with BT and I have the home hub 5.

    If it's still strict after you open the proper ports, try resetting your modem and router, then hard reset your console.

    This site will help you open the right ports
    Open Port

    Just select your router and follow the instructions. Do not download anything from the site, it's not necessary. It's a safe site, but port forwarding manually is very easy.

    Hi there Omega JB Xbox One Nat Strict :)

    You should try port forwarding your router. If you go to
    http://portforward.com/     you will be able to look for your router model and you will find the instructions on how to port forward that specific router. You can find the ports that you will need to forward and some extra information here

    support.xbox.com/.../network-ports-used-xbox-live

    In case you need I'll paste them here:

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    Why having troubles with NAT type ?

    You need to explain the issue in detail. Is your xbox getting a moderate or strict NAT? Is it a double NAT? If it's the moderate or strict NAT, look into port forwarding or placing the xbox one in a DMZ through your router.
