Xbox One Multiplayer Problem

a couple of things i can suggest. clear your alternate mac address in network-advanced settings - alternate mac - clear

also forget the network through the console and then research it and re connect.

With multiplayer issues like these, there could be many factors that could cause the packet loss issue so it's best to start with basic troubleshooting and work our way up trying different things to start ruling out some factors and narrow it down to the
root cause.

First go ahead and unplug your router and modem for about 5 minutes to power cycle them. This will reset the Internet and re-establish the security protocols. Then, go ahead and do a

hard reset and power cycle to your Xbox. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then
re-connect and turn on the Xbox. Go into your network settings and run the multiplayer test and detailed network statistics test.

Restarting your modem is a great step - also I would suggest speaking with your ISP to determine if they see packet loss across your connection. Sometimes a poor connection is because of bad cabling or old cables which they can fix.

Hey sorry that your having this problem. Are you using Wi-Fi if you are you maybe a little far for the signal to give you the full service? If you try using an Ethernet cable the signal will be greater than the Wi-Fi signal. If you need more help contact

Restarting your modem and router is a great first step (your isp will have you do it too).

When you say "replace cable", are you talking ethernet or coaxial (black round one from the wall if your ISP connects that way), or both?

Also, if you do have coaxial, make sure all the connections are tight and unkinked. Including any cable feeds to tv's, DVR's or cable boxes. Any loose connection in the house can cause noise on the line/packet loss.

If everything seems correct you might need your ISP to send out a tech, to check all cabling and the feed coming into the house/apt.
