xbox one most needed apps

the xbox one has a lot of apps the will have you enjoying the system for a lot of time

So the most important app would be an Alarm clock or scheduler, in your could set alarm time and volume of the tv since the xbox is allway in standbuy when the alarm

goes of the xbox should turn on along with the tv to desired volume.

i would like to see this happen if any one else agree or disagree ,or have any innovative apps concepts post here

CABLE BOX REQUIRED TO PLAY XBOX ONE?

No, only if you want to use the cable feature on the Xbox One is it needed. Kind of like some of the apps.. If you want to use Netflix it requires a separate subscription through Netflix. It is not needed for the Xbox One to function though.

 

Needs More Apps for Xbox one

We need more apps for xbox one, home the app for verizion Fios available for xbox 360 but not xbox one? An we need other gaming show apps for xbox one beside IGN.. Most the gaming show apps that on xbox 360 needs to go to xbox one. Thank you for excepting

For whatever reason apps found in the Windows App Store are not compatible with the Xbox One. I would have figured since they had this trove of apps available they would have made them compatible. But apps are coming. In regards to the setting the volume,
that would require 2-way communication between the TV and Xbox. Currently the Xbox has no way of knowing what volume your TV is currently set. So your best bet would be (if this app existed) to set the TV at the volume before turning it off.

 

good point but lets since the xbox does not have 2-way communication when the alarm goes off the vol can go up until you turn it off

 

some might need that. I have a friend who is horrible about waking up.

 

People have woken up on-time for a few years now, without the help of Microsoft...... Just syn.....

If you need such an app, maybe, the purchase of an alam clock would be better.

I agree though, a daily micro payment should be an option for thoes that need a wake up call sevice..

:"time flies when your having fun" is true the alarm is not just for when your r sleep its so that you dont misplace time this app can be used by all not just peeps that cant wake up to go to work , it can be used to let your kids know its time to turn
the game off and etc......

 

It isn't all that big of a deal for me since I already have 2 alarms, one on my clock and one on my phone. For some people that would be nice I suppose. It just seems a little bit unnecessary to me. Although then again I can see benefits to it besides just
waking you up. For example if you need to leave to go do something you could set an alarm or notification so if you get sucked into a game and lose track of time something will pop up to let you know it's time to get going.
