    3440x1440p monitor and xbox one?

    hi, like the topic says..

I want to get an xbox one, but have it in my gaming room, and use the same monitor as I have for my pc, an 3440x1440p monitor, my question is does it work with xbox on this type of widescreen monitor/resolution, or will it just look like crap?

    1080p display?

Well in any case, I gotcha. Thanks. I do have one other question, I have a computer monitor that is indeed 1080p capable, but has no HDMI port, is there any kind of cord I could buy that would connect the xbox one to the monitor?

    Hello there!

Regarding your question, it actually depends on the monitor itself. Please try checking if the monitor is compatible with the Xbox.

    Xbox series X - 1440p 144hz monitor

    Hi,

I have some questions for you.

What is the make and model of your monitor?

Do you currently own an Xbox One? If so, which console?

Monitor for my Xbox one X

    Hello,

Sorry for my language, (google translate).

I'm looking for a monitor for my Xbox one X, ...

My question is, is it worth buying a monitor at more than 60HZ in 4k ???

Does Xbox One x accept more than 60 Hz ???

    Thank you for your answers.
It is worth buying a 4K 144hz monitor for Xbox Series X, However you need to make sure the monitor has HDMI 2.1,

"Does Xbox One X accept more than 60hz ?"

    At 4K , No,

Xbox One X uses HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.0 bandwidth can only do 4K at 60hz,

HDMI 2.1 of the Xbox Series X will allow it to go to 4K at 120hz, but only if you have a TV or monitor with HDMI 2.1, and a refresh rate of 120hz or higher.

    1440p @ 120hz On Xbox One X compatibility?

So the question isn't will any HDMI 2.0 port work, the question is will any MONITOR with HDMI 2.0 and 120hz refresh rate work?

From what I'm reading the answer appears to be no... so the question is... which ones will?
    Hi,

The answer to your question is quite simple. The Xbox One X can do 1440P at 120hz. However, not all monitors can do this refresh rate over HDMI, many displays are restricted to Display port for 120hz and freeSync support.

This is due to display port being very common on PC and higher refresh rates being more of a big deal for PC gamers than console gamers.

I can't give you a list of which ones will support the One X, you'll need to research this yourself. Suffice as to say, there a lot of models that support 120hz over HDMI, and a huge amount that don't.

There are quite a few videos for the best monitors for Xbox One X on YouTube. The monitors in these videos will obviously support this feature. Otherwise, you'll have to check the on-line documentation for the display you're interested in. Most models
    should have an online manual.
