    But a wireless bridge is something completely different, than having your Zhone gateway operating in "bridge" mode. A wireless bridge is a technique used to expand your existing network infrastructure (LAN) to an access Point. Two devices, where one creates
    a bridged wireless network, from an existing network infrastructure, and allow an access point on the other side to connect to this bridged WLAN, and without the need to broadcast.

    May I ask, have you been in Contact with your ISP (Internet Service Provider), and if they could help you configure your Zhone in bridge mode?

    Good news, I put it into a full bridge and now cod aw and Xbox one's nat is "open". The only problem I see is that I can no longer access the gateways gui ever since I put into full bridge mode. I tried plugging it in via Ethernet cable and no luck there.
    If I factory reset the gateway and left all the settings alone except putting it back in full bridge mode will I achieve the same results without the port forwarding and all the other directions?

    If it works leave it alone.

    There is no need to access the gateways gui if in full bridge mode because it's just acting as a modem. All port forwardings you might have done on the gateway earlier will no longer be operational anyway.

    If you have configured your Zhone gateway to be operating in bridge mode correctly, I really don't see the purpose, why you have to access the web-utility interface of this device.

    Appreciate if you can verify that you are up and running with an independent behavior of your NAT (Open/Cone NAT).

    when you put it in "full bridge mode" it disabled all router functionality ( assuming full bridge is correct) and with that, all the Port forwarding and other directions associated with the Zhone. the Netgear is what is running the show now and you can
    try restoring that to factory, then adding things as needed if thats what you really want.

    Why having troubles with NAT type ?

    You need to explain the issue in detail. Is your xbox getting a moderate or strict NAT? Is it a double NAT? If it's the moderate or strict NAT, look into port forwarding or placing the xbox one in a DMZ through your router.

    @Bobmcfly247 A fully compatible router should allow an open NAT on both Xboxes not moderate. If you have a moderate Nat then you have a router with crap UPnP support.

    On a good router your Xbox will open a different UPnP port rather than the standard one if it's already mapped to another device. This keeps the NAT open on both. On a bad router this will fail and you get a moderate or strict Nat.

    Ok so I shut down the xbox one unplugged it and restarted, it then showed open nat, then the next day the nat was back to moderate. Keep in mind I hard coded the ip address of the xbox one and have port forwarding for this ip on my router and it went back
    to moderate nat without me doing anything.

    This is ddefinitely an issue with the xbox one or xbox live itself

    Moderate Nat on Xbox One ?

    Just to note, I managed to get it sorted here. The issue I had was that the port forwarding wasnt working on my routers firmware. As mentioned before I have a two router setup. The issue was with my second router, its an Asus RTN66U that I had Tomato firmware
    installed on. After I restored the original asus firmware and got the latest firmware update from asus it works now, stays open after every test.

    Just thought I'd mention in case anyone else was using Tomato firmware on their router.
