Xbox One modding tool

In the past I have used an Xbox 360 modding tool to nice effect on my games, however, after I performed an action which temporarily suspended my account. I, of course, learned from this to ensure that my account wasn't suspended indefinitely. So I was pleasantly
surprised when a modding tool came out for the ONE.

I did not entirely download it, due to the fact that the disclaimer made it sound like using it would in fact could be a violation of the terms and conditions use of the Microsoft agreement.

I wont fault the people who designed to make me interpret their product falsely, in fact I was glad.

My overall question is if anyone else has used it, what their recommendations of insuring that I don't violate the Terms and Conditions of my account, or if anyone from Microsoft as well can tell me.

I enjoy my experience with, as well as my product from, Microsoft/Xbox, so I would prefer to not take any actions, that would harm my enjoyment with them.

Exploiting glitches and modding is what he was referring to which is very much against the microsoft terms of use.

That's what it sounds like. i suggest you try and explain what he's attempting is wrong and microsoft will ban and perhaps brick the console because of it. (Also known as a console ban)

If they detect him doing it, He will lose his gold account and whatever games attached to that account.

I know where you are coming from. This is my son's account. Very confusing terminology sometimes for us parents. Forumn can help sometimes. I also have used the support/help chat for Micrsoft on the web site. They gave me the phone number also. They were
very helpful both times I called.

 

Any form of modding is a violation of the code of conduct/terms of service. So using the software would be a violation.

 

You were lucky only to get suspended last time.

Usually,apart from Gamerscore modding,you get banned or even a console ban if you mod in any way.

Gamerscore modding get's you a Gamerscore reset & a suspension for the first time,then probably a ban if you do it again.

Apart from games like Skyrim or Fallout 4 that have built in mods you can use,modding of any type is a serious violation of the ToU/CoC
