    Xbox One Mirco USB Port

My controller which is customised via design lab, has recently decided to not work at all after less then ten months , the micro usb port has become wobbly and even when manually fixed in place fails to power the controller and even the option of using it
via Bluetooth is out of the window because for some reason that's decided to pack in too. Would go through the usual online troubleshooting method but when it comes to submitting the serial number, it just constantly loads.

Details of my Controller (not like that'd matter):

    Body: Robot White

    Back: Midnight Blue

    Bumpers: Midnight Blue

    Triggers: Midnight Blue

    D-pad: Metallic Electric Green

    Thumbsticks: Midnight Blue

    ABXY: White on Black

View & Menu: White on Black

    Engraving: SlothBoi

Serial Number: [Mod Removed - Personal information]

    Order Details:

    Ordered: December 8, 2018

Order number [Mod Removed - Personal information]

    :)

    Hi AranGarth,

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue with your Design Lab controller. Generally, when you have issues with a Design Lab controller, I would recommend you attempt to troubleshoot using one of the links from our support article entitled Xbox
Design Lab and Xbox Design Lab controller help
    .

If you're having difficulty in checking the warranty or the serial number online, then I recommend that you
request a call back or chat with Xbox Support so that they may do so for you. Sadly, we here on the forums lack the necessary tools for directly dealing with any accessory or
    warranty issues.

    • Log into Support.Xbox.com
    • Scroll down, Click on Contact Us
    • Step 2 : Select a Category, then See other options
    • Step 3 : Select your Issue/Topic – warranty, service & repair
      • Select - Show contact options
      • Select – Call me back or chat with Xbox Support

If you do not see the selection that you wish to use for contact, then switch topics until it becomes available as the selections do change from time to time.

    Hope this helps out!

Received replacement controller today via Microsoft Support, still loses signal wired/wireless.

@NewBlacksmurf, signal to controller via USB/mirco USB will still get interrupted/dropped/locked for several seconds while playing any game (even that Deer God @200+MB on HDD).

Running wireless would get the same results, but instead would get a signal loss. The controller Xbox Button would blink and or dim.

    Xbox One Controller wont update

having the same problem and I have tried it with two different controllers and got the same thing, also tried it with 3 different mirco usbs. I was able to update my controller the first day I got the one, but not sure why it is not letting me update it
    this time

Xbox Skype Kinect camera being used by another application

Make very sure you're in the right USB port if you have an Xbox One without a dedicated Kinect port (like an Xbox One S or Xbox One X)!

The Kinect--even though it has a power adapter--needs consistent voltage in its USB connection too, and only the USB port on the Xbox labeled "Kinect" provides it (that's the port closest to the HDMI I believe.) A POWERED USB hub may work too.

But... plugging the Kinect into one of the other two USB ports--or a non-powered USB hub--will cause problems -- either a warning to plug it in the right port... or intermittent connection issues... or a failure to be detected at all.

Xbox Controller Update With Mirco Usb not working properly

After you power cycle, can you use the USB-connected controller to power on the Xbox? Does that help it recognise the controller at all?
