Xbox one "Mingle Island" concept...

Hello, when I got my Xbox one I noticed that our Avatars were not going to be a part of our Xbox one experience. which I think Xbox live should make the Avatar a even larger part of the Xbox experience on Xbox one by creating a 3rd person Avatar
creation and customization/gamer social meeting place. a FTP Avatar MMO Accessable to all new Xbox live gold profiles and separate from the 360 Avatar system..kinda like IMVU but better. "Mingle Island"

The new profile's Avatar wake's up on Mingle Island like Robinson Crusoe, a castaway, in tattered clothes to find the Island inhabited by other Avatar's (gamers logged onto "Mingle Island") and a Resort/Mall where they can customize and buy gear
and accessory's. different shops for the different types of Avatar item's sold so people can window shop.. starting with the basic Avatar you would then be able to buy anything Avatar.. nice Avatar's though worthy of the next gen. people like to look nice.
that means nice looking Avatar's. people will spend money to look good in a social setting. transaction's would be instanced so no check-out lines.


People would be able to hang out and meet other gamer's, socialize and become friend's on Xbox one's "Mingle Island" and probably spend lots of time and money there and it would provide a non game fun environment to get to know other gamers, or
just sit on the beach and watch the sunset with someone you met on Mingle Island..create and customize Avatars and bring the Avatar to the next gen in an enjoyable way..

I would play. But there would have to be sub mini games also. Cast away island style bowling, swing from trees neat games like that. Ones you can walk up to and start playing, no load times and easy for all to start a challenge together.

 

Sounds a lot like Playstation Home. I haven't used it in ages but it was a neat idea that as far as I know never came to fruition.

 

I think avatars should never have existed in the first place.

 

any mini game in a mmo setting would have to be instanced because it would become contested content then.. I think a classic game room in the mall would be cool or a club to go dancing in if it could be done without it being instanced I have seen such a
thing work in a mmo before..i think it best to focus on the social aspect and the avatar creation process. IMVU is successful idk about playstation home. I personaly think the whole PS thing is a dud.. lol!. not just PS home..ijmo

 

I don't know - it didn't work out too well for Sony's online service. Personally, I just want it to where it is on the Xbox 360, but higher-res.

 

Forget ps home this is like the Mii verse on Wii-U.

lets not forget the Avatars would not be the goofy cartoony type of avatars of the past (wii/ps lol) but nice looking or hottie style.. handsome or pretty for you old school types. I said before "something worthy of next gen" and "like IMVU" which has hip
hot Avatars that are highly customizable.. fashionable attire and cool accessorys. this is important for the whole thing to work... as a social interaction site where people meet and mingle..

 

Playstation home was such a yawn.

I think this would be sick if we removed the avatar marketplace and forced you to walk to the mall to buy stuff. I would probably log on just to go Kinect bowling.

 

Avatars should seriously go. That's the most useless feature on the One... At first, MS forgot battery life indicators and storage management but remembered the oh so crucial Avatars that serve no purpose. Lol, I'm not bashing MS, just saying..

 

Xbox one is not playstation or wii...if Mingle Island was done in a tasteful, decent, public way (as in NO PRIVATE ROOMS) hip, hot, and cool...I think it would be a hit.. it's how you do things, that matter's facebook is a giant success and again IMVU is
successful.. social sites are popular. and profitable..
