    Xbox One Minecraft Texture Packs


    Hi. Fired up Minecraft today and for some reason all texture and skin packs are behaving as if they were Trial Versions - even the ones we have definitely purchased and installed (most recent one being the Merry Bundle/Festive Mash Up) All worlds previously
    created using the texture packs show a warning that the texture pack is a Trial Version and that it will not allow you to save without purchasing the full version...but then selecting OK leads to it confirming we have already purchased said texture pack.

    On Line support tried deleting the account and adding it again...no joy. Final option seems to be uninstalling the game and all texture packs (I have tried simply uninstalling the packs and re-starting but again no joy).

    Any other suggestions or others with similar issues? Not being a techie I am concerned about uninstalling the full game and potentially losing the saved worlds as my son will never speak to me again! (I am told this shouldn't happen but seems a big step
    to take!)

    Can you share texture packs on Minecraft with people on same Xbox

    Hi. We have an Xbox One and play Minecraft. My son wanted a texture pack. I bought the Minecraft Coins under my account and then used them to get the texture pack under my account. We went to his account and the texture pack isn't available. Does he have
    to buy it too? Seems ridiculous. On Minecraft the Xbox One edition if you buy DLC it is shared across all accounts on the same system.

    AHHH...Not Again!!!

    Minecraft should make a Microsoft texture pack. The Xbox One could be the bricks.

    If Minecraft is working fine without the texture pack, and only the textures are the issue, then MirrormasterOO7 needs to contact BDCraft first.

    If MirrormasterOO7 is using Minecraft on the Xbox One, or the Windows 10 version, then Microsoft took the support for the "Bedrock" version of Minecraft.

    Java Minecraft is Mojang's responsibility.

    But since this problem is about a texture pack not working correctly, BDCraft has to provide support, and if there is a new incompatibility in a Minecraft version with their texture pack, BDCraft has to figure that out.

    So MirrormasterOO7 has to contact BDCraft first, not Mojoang. And since Microsoft has bought Mojang, they are also providing the support.

    Good evening

    The reason for this is that Minecraft texture packs are usually downloaded as .zip or .rar files, not .jar files. It's possible that the file you downloaded is not actually a texture pack, or that it was downloaded incorrectly.

    To open a Minecraft texture pack in the Java edition, you should follow these steps:

    Download the texture pack from a trusted website, such as the official Minecraft website or a reputable modding website.

    Once the file has downloaded, open the Minecraft launcher and click on "Options" and then "Resource Packs".

    Click on "Open Resource Pack Folder". This will open the folder where your Minecraft resource packs are stored.

    Move the downloaded texture pack file into the folder.

    In the Minecraft launcher, click on "Done" and then go back to the "Resource Packs" section.

    You should now see the new texture pack in the list of available resource packs. Click on it to select it, and then click "Done".

    The texture pack should now be applied to your game.
