    Xbox one minecraft splitscreen issues


    I am experiencing an issue where one of my four controllers when trying to play four-way split screen on Minecraft says controller lost connection, this is a different controller each time & the controller will still allow the use of the home button but
    will not control the game, any advice ?

    minecraft splitscreen issues

    I enjoy playing mine craft with my kids on the splitscreen option. I turned it on the other yesterday for us to play and the other controllers wont activate to play the game. But mine works fine. Help plz.

    Hello,

    You can only play Minecraft in splitscreen if you have an HDTV (High Definition TV). A standard definition TV will not let you play Minecraft in splitscreen. It's unfortunately not possible.

    You need a HD TV to be able to play splitscreen on Minecraft so that could be the issue.

    Hi there, if you both want to play Minecraft on one console you will only have the option to play splitscreen.

    Also please make sure you have a HDTV and the Xbox display settings are configured correctly as splitscreen requires a screen with an output of 720p or higher, the Xbox 360's video output needs to be configured accordingly. The video mode can be checked
    by going to Settings > System > Console Settings > Display - Make sure this is set to 720p or higher.

    Xbox one - playing minecraf with multiplayer (split screen)

    Hey there Robbie!

    To play splitscreen multiplayer on Minecraft, hop into a world and turn on the second controller and a prompt asking the second controller to press the "menu" button should appear. After doing so, the game should immediately switch to splitscreen.
