    Xbox One Minecraft Multiplayer Issues


    Okay, I recently purchased a physical disk copy of Minecraft Xbox One Edition for a close friend of mine. This person has Xbox Live and we have checked with Xbox Customer support to prove it. Whenever I go to send a request to my
    world, to her, she will open the request and it takes her to the Xbox store to buy Minecraft. Whenever she sends me a request to join her game it takes me to the store with a error message "Minecraft is currently not available" even though I was playing the
    game earlier. I know that the issue is not on my end because I am able to play multiplayer through different friends on Xbox Live. The issue only occurs with her. This just dont make any scence to me because I bought her the psychical hard copy of minecraft
    for the Xbox. Please can anybody help me with this issue.

    Hey there, Spawner65! I'm very sorry to see any issues with multiplayer in Minecraft! What you're running into is likely an issue with your Xbox Live Gold. It doesn't appear that your account has Gold here on the forums because you've got a gray gamertag.
    Minecraft multiplayer requires Gold.

    The notification for Minecraft in the Service Alert is solely for sharing to Facebook, not multiplayer games.

    If you continue to have issues with multiplayer in Minecraft and you have Gold on your account, please post back so that we can look further into any possible issues. Xbox One Minecraft Multiplayer Issues :)

    Local multiplayer Minecraft guests can't interact with world

    I checked out the minecraft forum, but all discussion there is older and only for the "Xbox One Edition" version of Minecraft, which is effectively discontinued, and doesn't have the multiplayer problem.

    My issue is with the "regular" (?) version of Minecraft on Xbox (not the Xbox One Edition) ...btw, whoever came up with these two versions is a moron...

    Let us isolate the issue by firs knowing what happen when you try to join a multiplayer game on Minecraft. Please provide us details about your issue:

    1. Please provide a screenshot of the issue and conceal your personal information like gamertag, email address or full name.
    2. Are you playing Minecraft on PC or Android or iOS or Xbox Console?
    3. Have you tried connecting to different network? Will issue persist?
