@a virtual duck. I'm not seeing the grayish colors or the frame pacing issues you speak of.

 

AVD got to be the 1st to see my world - I think he thoroughly enjoyed it (although, AVD, I'm sorry to say that there was at least 1 or 2 things I forgot to show you).

In other MC news, I spent my day visiting worlds that belong to other forum regulars - if you visit Boocar's world, you can see the general store I built there for weary adventurers who are seeking to put an end to the enderdragon.

world pretty good. Am completely free tomorrow will need to catch up with some 360 friends tomorrow but should be mostly on x1. 9:35 am here. PS I love the music in x1 some tracks arent in the 360 version.

Watched the two videos. The first one made me really dizzy especially since I only got about 3 hours sleep. The second one is great. And strictly only... on survival no creative mode for the second video, really.

It's great to see people spending hours on works. I use to spend that kind dedication on mc, but have lost the patience/motivation a bit. One of my best friends even said I'm lazy. I might get time today but want to catch up with others we should play again
but may have to be next weekend. For me it takes at least a week or even a month before you start really seeing any progress in your worlds. I'm keeping my worlds to the platforms they're on, but have downloaded the DLC like skin/texture packs at $0 from the
360 version because it's a bit boring playing with the default original skin pack which is what I ended up doing for the first 10 minutes or so with the X1 version.

 

I learned a lot today:

1) Not to take the game too seriously - a friend blocked and reported me today when I got upset for being slighted.

2) How to use that accursed potion brewing stand.

3) The exact dimensions of the nether portal (I was close, but just off the mark).

4) Just how useful sugar really is.

5) The exact heart amount for certain foods like steak, pumpkin pie, and cookies.

6) The space needed to grow pumpkins incredibly quickly.

7) I memorized the recipe for cookies.

8) That zombies literally break doors (I always thought they just "knocked it off").

9) I prefer hard mode - it's more of a challenge.

10) Blazes are incredibly dangerous.

11) Hitting a fireball back at a ghast is HARD!

12) You can get the diamond achievement simply by having a friend hand it to you (rather than actually having to mine it yourself).

...um, I think that's it...

Hey everyone. It's Tuesday afternoon. I have some news I wanna share. Minecraft is popular in NZ! According to todays Dominion Post (major NZ newspaper) from page A9.

"A mine of Information. Lego-like video game Minecraft is not only a hit on screens, but its guidebooks are top sellers in New Zealand and overseas, weite Hillel Italie and Tom Cardy".

The article takes up pretty much ALL of page A9 (A3 size). It shows 3 kids wearing Steve face and another picture of a girl playing on it on her iPad tablet.

It's a newspaper which Auckland and Wellington gets. You can get the newspaper online but the service can only be used by those who subscribe and pay for it. I won't quote anymore otherwise it would take up a full forum page.

It's 4:43 pm here. Being really sunny today being the first month of spring. I might even do a YT video you should see today's Dominion Post (our newspaper). The Minecraft article took up an entire page! Only about 15 of my friends own an Xbox 1 some of
them are considering getting one at the end of this year. Spoken to at least 3 of my friends and they're interested. Lewis Blogs is doing commentaries hear him go on about the amazing new music in the game I love the new music too. Have posted 5 videos on
my channel. I don't use the twitch feature but my console recorded some clips when Xbox 1 first came out until I got onto it and turned it off on the Dashboard but am happy to keep the clips on my account. Maybe I should turn the feature back on.

 

Trying to keep this thread alive ;P but there's only so much I will want to do for this thread. Yesterday I tried getting the wolfie achievement. I tamed 2 wolfies and bread 3 who are all adult wolfies now. But it didn't give me the achievement. O well I'll
hunt some more skellys to get bones and use that to tame wolves.

I'm in no hurry to get the achievements. I've noticed with the X1 version it has some as Lewis Blogs on YT put it "song writer" music. Yes I love it too and you should see how many mobs spawn even on Easy at night it's way more than the 360 version! Instead
of one creeper chasing you there's like 3 or 4 and more in the near horizon. It feels like playing it on at least Normal on the 360 version. They for sure raised the mob (friend/foe) limits due to Xbox 1 having way more memory and better processing power.
Having gotten any invites/messages from CloudStrife regarding the X1 version but fair enough we're all busy. Several of my friends who play the 360 version are playing the X1 version.
