Xbox One Minecraft Lost World

I was playing Minecraft this evening and I needed to restart my Xbox One due to party issues, however when I returned I found that the world had disappeared (after saving it before restarting), and playing on this world for about a month prior I decided
to reinstall my game to see if was a glitch in the cloud and nothing worked.

Transfering Minecraft Xbox 360 to Xbox One X won't work

Together with Mojang support I found out the problem why I do not manage to import my saved worlds on my Xbox One X in the online purchased version of Minecraft.

The Minecraft Xbox One version that you can buy online in the Microsoft store is a different version than the Minecraft Xbox One version you buy in the store (DVD). The online version is the so-called Minecraft (bedrock code base on xbox one) version.

To import the saved worlds, you first need to export the worlds on the Xbox 360 Minecraft version, import them into the Minecraft Xbox One Edtion import and then import old worlds into the Minecraft bedrock codebase version. (Minecraft Xbox 360 -> Minecraft
Xbox One Edtion -> Minecraft Xbox bedrock codebase).

You end up with a version that you do not use, but you can then sell it via e-bay to fellow gamers who have the same problem.

So it is possible and fortunately not as Microsoft indicated earlier that the worlds would be lost.

If i have a disc of minecraft on the xbox 360 can it sync to xbox one,

so the worlds and work wont be lost??? Im a bit clueless

Have you made sure that the world was not created on the other version of Minecraft for Xbox Live?

Sometimes people, including myself, sometimes create a world on the other version of Minecraft and wonder where it has gone when we load up a different version.

Failing that, make sure it has not saved its self on an external storage connected to your console?

Hi, thanks your response, however the world was on the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft, as that is the only version installed on my Xbox and I have no external storage devices.

Did you have the world open when you restarted your Xbox one?

The chances of getting your world back is very slim. Once it has been deleted, it has been deleted. There is no way of plugging a program into the console to retrieve deleted data.

Removing my account didn't work. But to say once it has has been deleted, , it has been deleted isn't the case here as I didn't the world at all and this must be an error with the game or my Xbox, and to think I spent
over 1 day played over a months period (not even including how long my friends have spent on there) on that world really angers me.

This issue has happened to 3 MORE WORLDS! WHY IS IT DOING THIS?

 

This just happened to me tonight... The exact thing. I got a party invite from a friend tried accepting it didn't work, save and quit out of the game go to the home xbox. Hard shut down restart (unplug xbox) wait a few seconds plug back in.. Still no
map... It had the one I started not my second one.

Oh my. We have the same issue. This is bad business considering what it has cost us,

Two of our worlds have simply disappeared. Sadly, we have been building these for 3-4 years... just gone for no reason.
