Xbox one minecraft issue - character looks up at sky when loaded

Is it possible for the xbox one machine could be the issue? My daughter has an " Xbox One S " machine, I reset default to her controller on my machine, her player still looks up even with a new start game, player 2 in this game loaded normally though (
no issues ).

My wife has an issue with her character, every time she loads into saved game or starts a new game her character's always looks up at the sky, but she is able to play as normal after adjusting where she looks. Player 2 loads are a different issue, that character
looks at sky and can't move. I can load minecraft from my profile with no issues for me or player 2.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the game, deleting and re-installing her profile, deleting and re-installing my profile, I have performed a soft console reset and a hard console reset, we also multiple controllers, ( 5 in all ) 2 of which are
brand new, all controllers have been tested at Gamestop and all are fully functional. She also has a saved game that won't sync. I am at a loss of what to try next, I have tried everything shy of deleting her microsoft account, which she could lose her purchases
( not an option ). She has 2 other saved games, her character still looks up in those, along with any new game started. I have checked her controller settings and all appear normal.

I am not sure what to try next. Any help would be appreciated..

I noticed that you said you have tried everything except removing her account from the Xbox. Are you on Xbox one? If so, I can assure you that no saved data will be lost in the process as long as your console was connected to the internet.

While your console is connected to Xbox live on Xbox one, your saved data automatically gets uploaded to the cloud. This makes it so that your saved data follows you no matter what Xbox one console you are on.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. First thing I would check with player 2 is the controller settings. Press start and go into the controller settings, scroll all the way down and select the Default controls.



If that doesn't work, then this sounds like a bug that needs to be reported. In game, you can press start and select "report a bug". You can also try
Mojang support for more options.

Check on apps, accessories and devices, check for controller updates.

Does it do similar on any other games?

Could be controller drift, certain games allow you to alter change controller deadzone, the larger the deadzone the more input required for it to move in that direction.
