    Xbox One Minecraft Edition Server has been down for a week?!?!?


    Got my son an xbox one minecraft edition for his birthday a week in a half ago. When we hooked it up the 2 player was working great.. then for a week now it keeps telling us the server is down and we can't play 2 player. My son wanted this system just so
    we could play 2 player! Why has the server been down for a whole week?!?!?!? It's very frustrating! Did I waste my money buying this system?!?! $300 is NOT cheap! Who do I need to contact to ask why the server is still down and when will be working correctly?!?!?!

    Inability to play a game

    You need to buy Minecraft not Minecraft Xbox one edition. The one edition has been delisted from the xbox marketplace and replaced with Minecraft. If you want the one edition you would have to look for it on disc.

    Stuck as trial mode, no purchase option.

    U should check if u own Minecraft Xbox one edition check if it has a popup that says

    u have been playing Minecraft Xbox one edition for Certain days u can get this new Minecraft for free

    And once u tap to get Minecraft u will be redirected to the Xbox store Minecraft will be free

    That's how I got Minecraft free

    Sorry to hear it. Have you tried power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down?

    Good day

    The mini games for minecraft was only on the xbox one edition.

    The newer version which is Bedrock edition does not have the mini games as the other one. Instead they have servers that acts as mini games.

    To know the difference is the xbox one edition will say "Xbox One edition" under the minecraft name.

    While the bedrock edition will just say minecraft.

    You might have gotten the newer version while your friends still has the older version of the game on Xbox one.
