Xbox One Minecraft Edition crashes when attempting to load or join online game.

Same thing happening to me. Every time I hit load it freezes, so cannot continue with previous tutorial where I left off and cannot play a new game.

Madden 25 Crashes

When attempting to play a game in Madden 25 the game will freeze, crash and then XBox One reboots. It's random when this occurs because it will happen when it attempts to load the new or resumed game.

Is this Software or Hardware? Has this happened to anyone else?

 

Minecraft Xbox 360 "Loading error"

Every time I try to join friends world or make my own a error pops up saying "Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition" has failed to load and cannot continue" Can some one help me i have no clue what is happening BTW i have disk version of Minecraft xbox 360 edition

 

We are having a similar problem. The game loaded fine, but when we hit "start game" it freezes on the start game - join game screen. Have attempted to uninstall the game with no success

 

This should be taken to the developers. But before you do. Try to power cycle and uninstall and reinstall the game if you can.

 

I have a problem too when i try to make a new world it stops working and take me to the dashboard i tried it for like 30 mins and finally i gave up is the first time i play minecraft and im dissapointed i bought it cuz my gf loves it but we cant play so
any help please? I tried everything i know but still crashes!

 

Same issue. However if I turn off online game before creating it will allow me to enter with no issues. When I try to load the game back up but online, it freezes again

 

Anyone have an issue where your minecraft game goes offline and your friends get kicked from the game that your hosting and then when you restart the game everyone who was in that game looses all their items in their chest and inventory?

 

just spent 1 hour on live chat with microsoft and still would not work....soo have had to restore to factory settings for xbox one then just reset it up and re download Minecraft...all created and working fine now so this is a definite fix.....happy kids

Our minecraft keeps freezing/stalling too at the screen with the two grey boxes (join game on right). I can't tell if this is an xbox issue or a minecraft issue. I suppose I can try and reinstall.... this is totally frustrating. We have waited a long time
for the game and it's having issues.

 

Hey everyone so I was having the same problem and it seems it's messed up when trying to make an online game but if u just do local then it loads and works, maybe they r having issues with the server

 

Great find RedPark18 - That did it. Simply take off Online Mode and you're good to go.

I have more information. I moved my wife's gamertag onto my Xbox One, and signed in to Minecraft as her tag, no issues loading up any games online. I then signed in to my tag on another controller and was able to join her online game. I then exited to the
minecraft menu, chose my gamertag as the main, and attempted to load an online game and still had a crash to dashboard. It does not appear to be the download of the game on my console, it appears to be something related to my gamertag and the game.

I also did xbox support chat last night and did with them a clear alternate mac address and cleared persistent storage three times. The support person last night also informed me that it shoujld be resolved within 24 hours. It has not been resolved.

 

Hi great fix taking it offline! (this may have been posted before) One thing to note is if Minecraft is failing to load levels after this crash i have fixed it a few times now by:

Exiting Minecraft

deleting the local save

deleting Minecreaft

re-installing Minecraft

the loading it up and pulling the cloud saves back in!

(for some reason on my console deleting either the Minecraft game file or the save was not enough i had to delete them both)

sorry if this is a repost!

 

oh one other thing i guess is.... i haven't played enough to know which saves it backs up... all the ones i have done this with were generated on my Xbox one and were in the online mode... so I'm not sure if deleting local content will kill the offline worlds.
